SCBWI British Isles is here to support your career. We believe that we all need to take care of ourselves if we want to flourish creatively and professionally. To help you to do that we are bringing a Zoom course of 4 well-being workshops to you for the heavily subsidised price of £2.
That’s a members-only price of £2 for the entire course!
Non-Member tickets can be purchased for £20.
The course will be delivered by Andrew Wright (For more info click here) of Action Your Potential.
Here is what we have planned:
Well-Being Is A Skill – 1st April 2021 – 8pm
The neuroscience of well-being and the daily habits that support it. 50% of how we feel each day is down to our daily habits, in this webinar we’ll teach you how to build your daily well-being by applying new habits to boost balance in your nervous system.
Why We Worry and What To Do About It – 15th April 2021 – 8pm
The human mind is millions of years old and it has processes built into its everyday response to the world that can be deeply upsetting unless we are wise to them. In this webinar we’ll teach you about your negatively biased mind and how to build the mind management tools that help you manage your mind for growth, challenge and response every day.
The Creative Brain and How To Get More From It – 29th April 2021 – 8pm
In this webinar we’ll look at the amazing creative algorithms built into your brain and how to get the very best out of them everyday.
Am I Really Good Enough?: Imposter Syndrome and Other Brain Mirages – 13th May 2021 – 8pm
Our brain has hundreds of tiny biases built into it. In this webinar we’ll learn about how those biases work and how to see ourselves and our incredible brain for the amazing assets they are. Imposter syndrome, no it’s not just you, it’s all of us on a creative endeavour.
Recordings will be available for two months after the event but you must purchase the ticket beforehand.
