Come and join us in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh for a relaxed couple of hours of scrawling and scribbling. Flex those drawing and writing muscles in the company of your SCBWI friends.
There’s something to inspire the illustrator or writer in us all at the Botanics.
What’s that? You don’t draw? No problem! See that tree? Have a go! Who said they don’t write? Come on! That glass house over there could tell a story or two! Bring yourself, your note book or sketchpads, pencils, pens or whatever you normally use… maybe an umbrella too!
Afterwards why not stay for lunch with us in the Botanics? Bring a picnic or grab something from one of the cafes.
A creative and convivial couple of hours…what could be better for an Autumn Saturday.
Please meet at the East Gate on Inverleith Row (the other side of the Botanics from the main entrance) for an 11am start.
The Royal Botanic Gardens is one mile from Edinburgh city centre. The East Gate on Inverleith Row is served by bus numbers: 8, 23, 27. All-day parking is available on Inverleith Place for £3 (bring change or use the Ringo app).
