Is there a creative goal you’d like to achieve in 2018? Want to find more time for writing? Wondering if there are ways to make better use of the precious writing time you have? Does the start of a new year fill you with dread as you consider the literary deadlines you ‘d like to meet in the months ahead?

If so, this is the session for you!

Join us to learn about tools and strategies for carving out space in your busy schedule and then making the most of every minute.

We’ll look at ways to:
• balance writing with other commitments
• get more done in a limited amount of time
• recognise and overcome procrastination
• maintain motivation
• set savvy goals and plan for success.

You’ll walk away with tips, tricks and tools that you can use to help make 2018 your best writing year yet!

DrPeteDr Peta Freestone is a writing and productivity consultant for universities all over the world, and has developed award-winning programmes to help students and researchers achieve their writing goals.

She’s also a proud SCBWI member, a graduate of the Clarion Writers’ Workshop (University of California, San Diego), and in 2016 was awarded a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award (Children’s & YA). Her short stories have been published in various print and online venues, including anthologies from Penguin Books.
