Whether you're a pre- or newly-published or author or illustrator, just beginning to think about school visits, or a seasoned campaigner, please come along and join our exciting skills share session. We'll cover all aspects of the school visit process, from generating bookings, through great ideas for the content and format of talks and workshops, to the nuts and bolts of fees, insurance and book sales. We'll work together to try to answer everyone's questions and we're hoping that people will be prepared to share their own great ideas (and possibly disasters!).
The workshop will take place in the rather nice Conference Room at the Cambridge Central Library, where we'll have projector and screen equipment to show and critique Powerpoint slides.
Lunch is not included in the price of the ticket, but the Conference Room is next to the library cafe, so we can pop in there for drinks and food during the event.
A more detailed schedule for the session will be added shortly.
